COLOR CONSULTANT

since 1991

Jeanne Mare Werle

I am a Portland based color consultant with over 25 years experience. Clients tell me I have an uncanny ability to develop trust and warmth, that welcoming me into your home or business projects comes easily. All surface selections available for consultation: Counters, cabinets, flooring, walls, backsplash, carpet & tile. Exteriors can be as simple as two color modern designs or multiple old house colors where accent colors bring out the home’s gorgeous architectural details.

I offer both in - person and virtual / remote color consultations. My consultation fee is $225 / hour. Depending on the scope of the project most consultations come in at 1 to 1.5 hours.

About

My time is divided between private homeowner remodels and architectural projects.

Home Remodels

Perhaps your looking for a simple color change in a bedroom, living room & dining room. Or maybe your picking out new kitchen cabinets & want to make sure the counter top selection works well with the overall design vision. Or you just purchased a new house and want to get the exterior & interior color scheme settled before making other choices. All good projects to connect with me on!

Remote Consultations

For remote clients, digital images through email help us make color design decisions for your project. I will mail you large format color swatches once we hone in on a design. Recently, 3 seperate projects in Montpelier, Vermont, stemmed from one neighbor falling in love with an exterior color design I consulted in their neighborhood!

Architectural Projects

Kevin Cavenaugh of Guerilla Development keeps me busy creating unique color applications for his one of a kind Portland masterpieces. Eli Spevak of Orange Splot has invited me to add color to his beautiful cohousing projects. Mark Lakeman of Communitecture has involved me in many of his stunning sustainable permaculture projects.

Projects with Kevin Cavenaugh of Guerilla Development include: “Sun and Moon Houses”, “Burnside Rocket”, “Ocean” ,“MeatBalls”, "Jolene's First Cousin" , "TreeFarm", "Rig A Hut", Pub At The End Of The Universe", "TenPod" and his personal residencies.  Eli Spevak & Mark Lakeman collaborated on the stunning Mason Street Townhouses that bear all exterior color choices made by me. Eli brought me on for select color decisions on his cohousing project “Cully Green”.
